Syrtis Major on eastern limb. White cloud over 'Chaos' just passed the central meridian.
Dark area bordering North Polar Cap is 'Utopia'.
January 18th
Dark area to the south is Mare Sirenum. Possible white cloud over Nix Olympia just west of the central meridian.
Imaged in R:G:B Celestron 9.25". Not much detail but this is the 'boring' side of Mars. Prominent North Polar Cap.
